The definition of the services sector has changed over the years to encompass sectors where no physical commodity is created but knowledge or an activity is transferred. This sector includes banking, media, facilities management service providers and many more.
The biggest difference here is the human component. People figure much more predominantly here as very often they are experiencing the service with the provider present.
